Bounties (Anti-PVP)

In Harvest, bounties are a way to discourage players from engaging in unprovoked attacks on other players, also known as player versus player or PVP interactions. If a player does a total of 20 points of damage within 10 seconds to another player, they will be "marked for death by the local authorities". This includes a scythe graphic above the player who has the bounty, and killing this player will reward a 50 credit bounty to the killing player.

However, it's important to note that the bounty system is not meant to encourage players to engage in PVP. In fact, the opposite is true. We encourage players to work together to build a thriving farm community, rather than engaging in destructive behavior that harms others.

Instead, the bounty system is in place as a deterrent for those who might be tempted to engage in unprovoked attacks. By placing a bounty on these players, we hope to make it less appealing for them to engage in such behavior.

Ultimately, we want Harvest to be a place where players can enjoy a peaceful and cooperative farming experience. We believe that by encouraging players to work together and build a positive community, we can create an environment that is enjoyable for everyone.
