Farming

Farming is one of the main activities in Harvest, where players can grow crops to earn credits and progress through the game. Here's everything you need to know about farming in Harvest:

Soil

Soil is the base for planting crops. Unlike other resources in the game, soil cannot be purchased, and players must use the existing patches of soil in the game to plant their crops.

Seeds

Seeds are purchased from the market in town using credits earned from harvesting crops and foraging for items. To plant a seed, players need to put the seed on the soil and press their "use" key. Once the seed has been planted, it will take some time to grow into a full plant.

Watering

Watering does not help plants grow faster or increase their yield. However, it is necessary for a plant's survival. To water a plant, players must fill a bucket with water from a nearby water source (such as a river or well) and use it on the plant mound.

If a plant is not watered by the end of the day, it will die. Additionally, if a plant is planted out in the open, it can also die from frost.

Harvesting

Once a plant has fully grown, the crops can be harvested from it. Players simply need to interact with the fully grown plant to obtain the crops. The plant will then disappear, with the exception of some crops.

Crop Regrowth

Most crops in Harvest do not regrow after being harvested. The only crop that regrows is corn. Players can harvest corn every few in-game days after the previous harvest.

Farming is a crucial aspect of Harvest, as it provides a consistent source of credits for players to use in unlocking new areas and progressing through the game. With these tips and tricks, you'll be on your way to becoming a successful farmer in no time!
